INGREDIENTS
4 cups fresh basil
6 oz. almonds or walnuts (toasted)
3 cloves of garlic
¾ Cup coarsely grated parmesan
½ of a lemon (juiced)
1 ¼ Cup olive oil
S/P to taste
DIRECTIONS
Toast the slivered almonds or walnuts. Whichever is your preference.
In food processor, add basil, garlic, nuts, lemon and parmesan cheese and pulse until ingredients are finely chopped.
While food processor is on low speed, slowly add the olive oil and continue processing until blended. Salt and pepper to taste.
