Homemade Bone Broth

Bone broth is so good for you and your body. It is rich in minerals like calcium and phosphorus, in electrolytes like magnesium, sodium and potassium, and in gelatine and collagen. It can help keep your joints, ligaments, bones and tendons healthy and reduce joint pain. It can help with muscle repair, especially after a hard workout. It can help fight infections like the flu or a cold. It is really great for thyroid health and adrenal fatigue issues. It can help heal leaky gut. It can strengthen nails and hair. AND it can help reduce inflammation, which is the main cause of heart disease.



INGREDIENTS

Organic/Grass fed/no antibiotics bones (can be beef or chicken)

4 Carrots

6 stalks celery

1 medium onion

1 bunch parsley

6-8 sprigs of thyme

1 stalk of lemon grass

2 bunches of fresh ginger

S/P to taste

DIRECTIONS

Put everything in the Crock pot and turn on Low for 20 hours.

Simple and delicious!

Cost comparison was right at half the price as store bought per 8 oz cup. Approximately $1.85 - $2.00 versus store bought averages $3.50 - $4.00 per cup.
